Friends and Neighbors:

It is with a heart full of thanks to God and to you that I am no longer a candidate but a newly elected city commissioner. You have bestowed upon me an honor and privilege for which I am immensely grateful. Many of you met me personally at your homes as I, along with my parents, friends, and supporters, walked door to door. We’ve spoken about your concerns in our city – from things you want changed to things you want to stay the same. Whether we have known each other for some time now or only a short while, you have my deepest thanks for your support.

Growing up my family and faith taught me the importance of giving back to one’s community. I have striven to live my life committed to this value as a private citizen and will now do so as your public official. Addressing your needs and your interests are one of the reasons why we have a city commission. Serving you as your voice at city hall is a primary part of my duty to you and will be foremost on my mind at all times.

To my mother, father, family, and friends who selflessly gave to the success of this campaign to elected officials and community and business leaders who provided overwhelming support to my candidacy, you each have my deepest gratitude. Thank you for believing in me and my desire to serve others through elected office.

I look forward to being your public servant at city hall serving alongside our new mayor Gary Resnick, and fellow newly elected commissioner, Tom Green. I also want to congratulate Scott Newton, Sandy Steen, Celeste Ellich, Jan Page, and Steve Zollo on their incredible campaigns and I look forward to working with them as they continue their involvement in the community, as I am sure they will.

I pledge to work just as hard for you every day during my term as your commissioner as I did as a candidate.

You have my utmost and humble thanks for the trust you have placed in me.

In your service,
